Chief Executive Officer
Jassim Alseddiqi is the Chief Executive Officer of ADFG. He has been at the helm of the company since its establishment in 2011, transforming it into one of the leading and fastest growing investment management companies in the MENA region. Alseddiqi is known for his dynamic and innovative approach, having pioneered investment strategies in the region.
Alseddiqi is the Chairman of Gulf Finance House (GFH), Eshraq Investments, Khaleeji Commercial Bank and Salama Insurance. He also serves on the boards of the following companies: First Abu Dhabi Bank (FAB), ADNOC Distribution and Dana Gas.
Alseddiqi holds a BSc in Electrical Engineering from the University of Wisconsin-Madison and an MSc in Electrical Engineering from Cornell University. He has also served as a noted lecturer at the Abu Dhabi-based Petroleum Institute.
Deputy CEO, Group Head of Asset Management & Investment Solutions
Mustafa Kheriba is the Deputy CEO, Group Head of Asset Management & Investment Solutions of ADFG, and Executive Director of the Company’s Investment Manager, ADCM Ltd. Mustafa manages the day-to-day operations and business development of ADFG and its subsidiary companies. He also oversees deal origination, fund raising activities and directly manages key investments for the group. He also serves on the boards of Integrated Alternative Finance, Spadille, Northacre, Reem Finance, Integrated Securities, Khaleeji Commercial bank,ADCorp in addition to being Non-Executive Director at Qannas Investments Limited. Mustafa is also currently a board member and Managing Director of Gulf Finance Company in the UAE and KSA.
Mustafa previously held senior posts in financial services and investment companies in the GCC, USA and Canada. He has been named among the top 50 MENA Fund Managers in the 2015 and in 2016 annual survey conducted by MENA FM Magazine.
Mustafa holds a BA from the University of Toronto, and an MBA from Ohio Dominican University with Magna Cum Laude honors.
Chief Operating Officer
Bechara is the Chief Operating Officer of ADFG, responsible for overseeing the Group’s support and operational functions and ensuring timely provisions and allocation of human, financial and physical resources. Bechara has over 25 years of professional experience, having held several senior positions in the financial services industry, including Chief Operating Officer at Credit Suisse for the Middle East & Africa and Chief Operating Officer at Bank Audi in Saudi Arabia. He also has extensive experience in hi-tech firms and entrepreneurial ventures.
Bechara holds a BE in Electrical Engineering from the American University of Beirut, an MSc in Electrical Engineering from Virginia Tech as well as an MBA from INSEAD in 1995.
Chief Financial Officer
Joachim is the Chief Financial Officer of ADFG responsible for driving operational excellence across ADFG’s Finance, Treasury, Tax and Investor Relations functions as well as for providing budgeting, decision-making and reporting support to ADFG’s portfolio companies. Joachim is also leading the Digital Transformation program at ADFG.
Joachim has more than 20 years of international experience across Investment Banking and Finance. Prior to working at ADFG, Joachim held several senior positions at Deutsche Bank in Frankfurt and London, including CFO for EMEA and Group Head of Investor Relations. Earlier, Joachim was a top ranked sell-side equity research analyst at JP Morgan, HSBC and Credit Agricole Cheuvreux in London and Frankfurt.
Joachim holds an MSc in Investment Management from Cass Business School London, and Bachelor degrees in European Business Studies from Manchester Metropolitan University and University of Applied Sciences Bochum. He was also a guest lecturer at the Ludwig Maximilian University Munich’s Institute of Strategic Management.
Fawad Tariq Khan
Head of Investment Banking
Fawad heads the investment banking group at ADFG with responsibility for its advisory, capital markets and credit business lines.
He also serves on the Board of Directors of Northacre, a leading developer of high-end residential schemes in London, Khaleeji Commercial Bank, a publicly listed Islamic bank and NCM, a global FX and commodities platform.
He joined ADFG in 2014, initially heading up its debt platform and subsequently focused on devising and implementing alternative investment strategies across multiple asset classes. He most recently served as CEO of publicly-listed SHUAA Capital which merged with ADFG in 2019.
Fawad started his career with Deloitte based out of London before joining the Dubai office where he helped set up its Middle East debt advisory practice. He has executed high profile M&A and debt transactions on behalf of major international institutions across Europe, Asia and the Middle East region.
He holds an MSc in Business Studies from UCD Smurfit Business School and a BSc in Computer Science from University College Cork and also served with the Irish Reserve Defence Forces in the military police.
Chief Legal Officer
Bachir is the Chief Legal Officer of the group and manages the multijurisdictional legal and compliance requirements of the business. He acts as the corporate secretary to the ADFG board. With over 18 years of experience, he focuses on transactional cross border work, strategic distressed opportunities and contentious matters.
Known for his expertise in the area of shareholder activism, he specializes in governance improvement while implementing portfolio turn-around strategies. Bachir holds an LLB from Saint Joseph University, Beirut, Lebanon.
Head of Internal Audit
Olivier has close to 20 years of experience within the investment fund and asset management industry. Prior to joining ADFG, he was for 14 years at State Street where he served as EMEA Internal Audit Director responsible for State Street’s asset management arm. Olivier was also the Head of Audit for State Street Banque France, a function that he had established in 2008. Prior to State Street, Olivier was at Deloitte Luxembourg where he led various audit assurance projects for large investment funds and private banks.
Olivier holds a German and French double degree from ESB Reutlingen and Reims Management School. He also holds two international certifications: Certified Internal Auditor (CIA) and Certified Risk Management Assurance (CRMA).
Ajit Vijay Joshi
Head of Public & Private Markets
Ajit is the Head of Public & Private Markets at ADFG. He is also the investment manager of Goldilocks Investment Company Limited, an investment fund launched in 2015. Goldilocks has a mandate to invest in listed equities by taking a constructive activist role and unlock value.
Ajit has been with ADFG since August 2014 and has over 12 years of professional experience in technology consulting, equity research, investment banking and investment management.
Prior to ADFG, Ajit worked with Bank Muscat’s investment banking team where he advised and executed equity and debt advisory transactions across GCC’s petrochemicals, contracting, oil & gas services, marine and hospitality sectors.
Ajit holds a Bachelor of Engineering degree in Computer Engineering and holds an MBA from Indian Institute of Management Lucknow.
Head of Investment Solutions
Natasha is the Head of Investment Solutions at ADFG. She also serves on the Board of Directors of the Abu Dhabi-listed investment company Eshraq Investments PJSC.
She has broad experience in advisory, origination, structuring and execution across multiple asset classes including Private Equity and Debt Investments, Real Estate and Fixed Income.
Over the last five years, in her previous role as a Director with the Private Debt platform of the Group, she has structured over USD 7bn in financing including last mile and mezzanine financing.
Prior to joining ADFG in 2014, Natasha was part of the Corporate Finance and Debt Advisory team at Deloitte Corporate Finance Advisory in Dubai.
Natasha holds an MSc in Physics and Mathematics from the University of Bristol in the UK with a year at University of Bologna, Italy.
Niccolo Barattieri Di San Pietro
CEO – Northacre Plc
Niccolo is the Chief Executive Officer of Northacre PLC, where he is leveraging over 18 years’ experience in finance and real estate. After spending several years alongside Est4te Four’s Partners (who built their reputation in Milan by creating, arguably, the largest fashion quarter in the world), Niccolo helped Est4te Four to transform from a developer to a global real estate advisor with developments in Milan, London, New York and Los Angeles. Prior to this he was the head trader for Theorema Asset Management, a US600$mln European Equity Hedge Fund.
Director – Eastern Europe Platform
Predrag is a Director at Integrated Eastern European Holdings Ltd and is responsible for ADFG’s Eastern European investments. Previously he was Project Manager at Adriatic Marinas and he was responsible for their Porto Montenegro Project. He has over 12 years’ experience in engineering and project management in Australia and Eastern Europe, and holds a BSc in Civil Engineering from Sydney, Australia.
