ADFG CEO Jassim Alseddiqi receives the prestigious Arabian Business Achievement Award

Jassim Alseddiqi, Chief Executive Officer of ADFG, was honored at the prestigious Arabian Business Awards last night. Jassim was acknowledged for his many accomplishments including establishing ADFG in 2011 and leading it to become a global investment group with US$ 20 billion in assets under management. He is the youngest among the business leaders recognized at the Arabian Business Awards this year.

Jassim’s dynamic leadership abilities, underpinned by his pioneering vision, have enabled ADFG to expand and grow organically into an integrated financial services platform encompassing alternative investments, asset management, advisory and research, financing and structuring solutions, securities trading, and real estate.

Jassim expressed his appreciation in receiving the award:

“This is a great recognition and I’m truly honored to be acknowledged alongside some incredible industry leaders and pioneers. As I look back at my journey of setting up ADFG in 2011 to making it become what it is today, I realize this wouldn’t have been possible if it wasn’t for the exceptional team of people who have been working with me every step along the way, hence can proudly say that this award also belongs to the entire ADFG team.”

In addition to his role as the CEO of ADFG, Jassim also holds a number of influential board positions across the region: Chairman of GFH Financial Group, Khaleeji Commercial Bank (KCB), SHUAA Capital and Eshraq Properties, as well as Board Member of First Abu Dhabi Bank, ADNOC Distribution, Abu Dhabi Capital Group, and Algorythma.

Organised by ITP Media Group, the largest media house in the UAE, the Arabian Business Awards have for over a decade been the most prestigious award on the business calendar, with previous winners and attendees including HH Sheikh Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, HH Sheikh Ahmed Bin Saeed Al Maktoum, Mohamed Alabbar and former UK Prime Minister Tony Blair. Presented last night at a ceremony and gala dinner hosted by the renowned BBC broadcaster Andrew Neil, the awards recognise outstanding achievements across the global business stage, with up to ten winners each year from different sectors, based on merit.
